7 weeks old

Just some pictures of our sweet little boy who turned 7 weeks this past Wednesday. He is becoming quite a little chunk by completing outgrowing his newborn clothes and diapers. Four and half hours is his record for sleep and is on the verge of smiling. He is awake for longer periods of time and loves to sit in his bouncer to watch the world around him. Taking him outside almost always calms him down. Shelby is stilling loving on him and he is getting quite vocal when he dislikes what she is doing.

Shelby's dance performance

Shelby danced in her first performance this past weekend. I will put more pictures and possibly video(if I can figure it out) later but I wanted to post this one picture right now. This picture was taken Friday night at the rehearsal. The dance was going great until two of the girls got into an argument about the next steps. As you can see in the picture, the two girls crying in the back ground while the other three finished the dance. Stay tune for more pictures and wish me luck on posting the video.

6 weeks old

It is hard to believe that Bradan is already 6 weeks old. I would have to guess that he is between
8 1/2 to 9 pounds. (no doctor's appt. until 7/6) He is a very vocal child by grunting while he is eating and sleeping. We have gotten him to drink from the bottle though he is still nursing majority of the time. Big sister is still loving on him and so far he has been pretty tolerate of it. He has been having longer periods of awake time and even sleep for 5 hours straight one night. Here are some pictures of him the last couple of weeks.

He loves to sleep in the boppy.

Hanging out in his swing.

First zoo trip of the summer

Every year since Shelby has been born we get a zoo pass to Point Defiance Zoo which is in Tacoma. I finally braved going there with both kids by myself on June 9th. My thoughts that since we were going while school was in session on a Tuesday morning that there wouldn't be many people there. I was wrong. I forgot about school field trips to the zoo. We still had a great time. Shelby was excited to see the elephants but they were sleeping. She did enjoy seeing the monkeys swinging in their cage. Bradan just hung out in his stroller. Here are some pictures from that trip.

Sleeping Baby

We had one month pictures taken of Bradan this past weekend. He would not wake up at all. Shelby on the other hand did a great job in the pictures of both of them. You can really tell she loves her baby brother. These pictures are not the greatest quality because they are downloaded from the picture site.

Many faces of Shelby

Sad Face

4 weeks old tomorrow

Here are a lot of pictures from the past couple of days. Bradan is starting to keep his eyes open for longer amounts of time so of course I am taking lots of pictures.

He is getting so big
I would guess around 7 1/2 lbs. by now. Almost out of the newborn clothes.
Such a sweet picture

I had Bradan sleeping in Shelby's bed(don't ask why) and he started getting fussy. I was in the other room trying to quickly finish what I was doing so I could go get him. Shelby went in there and stuck the binkie in his mouth. When I walked in there, he was looking at his big sister like she was the best thing in the world. Too cute.
