HARRISON HOSPITAL, DAY 1

Quinn's mom stayed with her last night and I tried to keep Shelby busy at home. We decided were to put her new swing set in the backyard. I have all staked out, now I just need some time to do the dirt work. Shelby thinks this will be a rather quick process, and she said she could help because she is VERY strong......
Quinn had another AFI today and it showed an increase in fluid level and the baby is looking very good. Based on that, the doctors suggests we hold off a while longer before she is induced. The "line in the sand" is 36 weeks if nothing changes with her AFI. The 36-week mark is a week from tomorrow, but I am sure that will be re-evaluated on a daily basis starting next week. Don't expect anything new out of us on Saturday and Sunday, for I don't see anything changing until Monday.
Quinn is sick of bedrest but she wants to do what is best for the little one. He is healthy now and that should not change as long as she is here. However, a 35-36 week baby should be healthy as well if she delivers soon.
I took Shelby to the hospital to see Quinn this morning. It did Shelby good to see her mom. She just doesn't understand why her mom can't do everything with her that she is used to. We did everthing we could to keep her entertained. Even blown-up surgical gloves do the job in a pinch. She also brought her doctor kit and was sure to check her mom out when we got there.
It was a beautiful day today, so we got Quinn outside to enjoy the weather and watch Shelby play and wear me out. It is certainly nice to be closer to home. Harrison is a great hostpital and her room has a great view of the Olympics. Hopefully she will be ready to get outside after dinner tonight.
We will make a couple posts through the weekend, but like I said, nothing should change.
